Working With Projects and Movies
A Splitt project contains a pointer to a digital movie and a collection of markers that indicate where the movie should be split into submovies. A project does not contain the original movie, nor does it alter the original source.
Creating a New Project
To get started on a new project, choose File > New Project from File...
Opening an Existing Project
When you open a existing project, Splitt opens stored movie reference and displays the existing markers on the timeline and in the Marker Table
File Formats and Media Types
Splitt handles movies encoded in the formats supported by the QuickTime Player. For a complete list, see Appleās Support page for QuickTime Player.
When exporting sub movies, Splitt can process the sub movies using the original format or a using a variety of QuickTime and m4v-related formats.
